I cointinued to lay on the bed stairing up at the ceilling. "So beautiful...."
We know she was beautiful now will you shut up?
"So beautiful....." At that moment most of the other orphans came in and the book closed itself. It would never open around the others. The orphans crowed around me. "So..." I said casualy. "What's the damage?"

"How did you do it?" They all asked. "All that gruel and everything." There were alot of other questions like that. "You've cracked Gautier." I looked up. "What?"
"She cracked. Collapsed an had a mental breakdown."

I raised one eyebrow at Jessy,
"Does that mean Aila has it too? She told me she had no homework."
Jessy looked dumbstruck. I smiled evilly at her, and gave a little wave, "Thanks Jess. See you guys later." and i left.

"Chime? What's the capital of Poland?" I called across my bedroom to where the other shifter was sitting, reading Pride and Prejudice. I was surprised she had adapted so well to normal life after..well..

"Warsaw!" I yelled back. Turned out this whole 'good side' thing wasn't so bad. No more sharin my kill with the sewer rats or nothin.

I rang the doorbell of Pepper's place. I'd promised to help her with her algebra. The fact that I had offered was nothing to do with the tingly feeling I got around Chimera. Nothing whatsoever.

"Stupid alegbra." I muttered. Everyone else had gone off somewhere else, happy that there was no Gautier to stop them. "So tell me again why your not helping me do this?" I asked the book.
If you have a test tomorrow you can't just say just a minute while I check it.
"Stupid maths test."
