"Really? I find that easy. It's all to do with the rules of nature. A 2 will never become a 3 if nothing is done to it. Come on, you aren't bad."

"My teacher is really nice. Maybe if you had Mrs Teague you'd like maths too. And come on, Mr Acreman is the best Physics teacher alive." Ok, I was definately a geek.

((Ok firstly Mrs Teague is a really bad maths teacher, secondly Mr Acreman is a dude-I almost hit him when he walked behind a lacrosse goal I was shooting at-oops.))
"I tuned out the bickering. I was still standing right by Doc and I could almost feel the waves of relief rolling off him now his tale had been told. I was trying to be glad and supportive I really was but I didn't like the big Laurana gap. I wanted to know more, it was always a fault of mine, a desperation to know more than I really should, more than I was supposed to know. I tried to quash those feelings and looked between Maya, sitting with Aila, and Doc. i loved them all so much at that moment. The baby was squealing with delight, Maya laughing with her and I couldn't believe how gorgeous, how right they looked together. I couldn't believe they wouldn't stay like that forever. 'But they wont will they. She'll grow up and everything will change.' I shook my head to get rid of the intrusive voice. Doc looked at me strangely. "I'm fine." I lied. "Are you?" It was a genuine question, he had taken a huge step. "Better than ever." He said gently. "Glad to hear it." I said and wrapped myself in his arms.

Yep, perfect.
"So, little miss," I said, looking at Aila. "What did you think of the story," the girl looked at me a moment...
...then threw up on my shirt. Charlotte leapt back with a start. I looked at her.
"Remind me not to tell her a bedtime story," I muttered.
(((Sorry, I just had to put that in. ;D)))

I grimaced, "Oh goddess, sorry..." I handed Ail to Josh, saying, "Hold this." So he held the puke soaked child out at arms length, wrinkling his nose. Aila giggled some more while i tried to help clear up some of the sick. "How can a child that size make this much mess?" I asked desperately. "She must take after her mother." Doc joked. I socked him on the arm and continued operation clean up, until, "Er... MAi? What do i do with her?" I turned to see Josh still holding our child like something he'd picked up off the floor. I rolled my eyes, "Maybe changing her would be a good idea." "Oh..." He looked around. I hung the babies bag over his head and patted him on the cheek. "Right...." He mumured, and headed for the bathroom.
