I Wish

[Charlotte]

"And I can believe you because...?"
She raised an eyebrow but i dodn't really care if she thought me wierd, it didn't pay to be too trusting.
"Check out the weaponry." She said and held out the sabre. I looked at it for a second willing my eyes to stay dry then I looked up at her.
"This is a plan which involves us staying alive right?"
"That's the idea." She said with a smirk."
"And which doesn't involve me seeing D-Francois right?"
"Well..." Tash began.

[Jackson ''Doc'' Ellison]

"It's a little more..." Tash began. "Look, I'll tell you the truth, you'll have to face him, it's the only way this'll work. This Doc," she held up the Sabre, "Has been keeping your Sabre inactive so Francois couldn't find you. He's going to remove that protection. You need to force all the love you can into the Sabre. Because to the connection it makes between the two of you, it should overide Karen's control. At least, that's the theory. It might get a little more complicated."

[Charlotte]

"More complicated?" I hissed. "Girl that's complicated enough. You think Doc'll come back just 'cause I love him. Newsflash...I never stopped. It hasn't done any good so far. And I bet KAren'll have some trick to stop it working, she always has a trick up her sleeve. Oh yeah and you think he'll just wanna turn good once he's not under Karen's control anymore? He's evil now...properly...and..." (my vice went up to a definite whining sound) "I don't wanna see him."
"Lose the selfishness Charlie." Was Tash's matter of fact response. "This is about a lot of people and a lot of lives. All you have to do is face him."
"But..." I started wondering how to say this. "I haven't seen Francois since he abandoned me for Karen. I haven't wanted to. He sent a few people out to kill me but that was it. I was never a threat to him and I'm not now. He knows every weakness I have and he can exploit it. I've been doing the staying alive thing and I'm good at it. I try and help the others but right now I don't think I can."
"Don't think Charlie. You gotta do it." She said and pushed me towards the doors ahead.

[Maya]

Our swords clashed and he pushed me up against the wall, his sword pressing down on mine, dangerously close to my throat. He smiled at me,
"Come on Mai, you can do better than this." He teased.
I shoved hard, throwing him backwards off balance,
"Dont call me Mai." I hissed. He laughed that hollow laugh of his, and i felt that part of me inside crying out for the loss of the deep, amazing person who used to inhabit that body. I knew that had i been stronger, this would have been when my eyes flared black... but it didnt happen- i didnt have the energy to cal on such power. I was stuck with regular combat... and even that strength wasn't close to full.
You're screwed.
A little voice said in my mind.
"NO!" I yelled out loud, lunging at Francois again.

[Jackson ''Doc'' Ellison]

A red slash appeared on Maya's arm.

"Ah, petite, such strenght you 'ad," I taunted. "You should have rested up before coming here, Mai. But den, dat's why I started torturing Fait' early today. Grace's room was shielded against your psychic abilities. Would you belive I've been torturing her for three weeks straight," Maya's eyes bulged. "'er screams have been like a drug. Maybe I'll keep 'er 'round after I kill you. Jus' for de 'ell of it."

[Maya]

"I'll kill you." I growled. He laughed,
"You really think you can?" he taunted, "You could plunged that sword into poor Doccy's heart?"
"You're not Doc anymore." I snapped. I could feel the wounds i'd sustained over hte past weeks coming back to me, my strength draining once more- but i held myself together- i had too, just for that little bit longer...

[Pepper]

Positioned on a hanging light, crouched and ready to spring, I used my telepathy to ask Maya [Are you still Mai?]

[Maya]

I glanced up at her,
"Yes." I snapped. She hissed and looked about to pounce, but Francois snarled,
"Stay out of this!"

[Jackson ''Doc'' Ellison]

"Dis is all mine," I said to Pepper, lifting my Sabre. The Soul within was straining at teh bit. He smelled blood, Slayer blood, and he wanted to taste it. "Jus' a little longer, Jack. We'll have our kill in a moment."

(((Tash and Charlotte.)))

"What exactly did you mean, complicated?" Charlotte asked.

"Karen's spell isn't what turned him back into Francois," Tash explained. "It's the new Sabre Grace gave him. The Soul inside is so evil, it corrupted him in every possible way. The stratgy we have may purify him, but...it may come to the point where it'll only work from inside of him."

I stared at what was left of Rory, and smiled, that should teach him a leson, now I had a problem, what to do? I smiled again, time to show my true colours, I had to find Pepper.

((Actually, there was a serial killer sometime near then and when they caught him, as his neck snapped he said "I'm Jack" so they think it was him.))

"Fine" I sighed impatiently. "But save me some food. Never tried Slayer before" I grinned, fangs protruding.

I teleported off, into the night.

"Been looking for you" I heard a voice say from behind me.
I turned and there was a spirit. It was T-pot.

((erm, if a guy was about to die anyway, then he mighta just taken the credit for Jack even if it wasnt him. And Vlad the impaler wasn't so much evil- he was a warrior. Sure he had gross methods, but it was in battle, not just hey lets kills someone. -incase anyone doesnt know, Vlad the impaler was the guy dracula was inspired by as his father was known as vlad dracul- vlad the dragon, and so Vlad junior was Dracula- son of dragon. ))
