The song stopped as soon as I turned off the engine and I pulled the keys out of the ignition, pocketing them and giving a small smile at the cartoon witch keyring. I shoved open the car door and stepped out into the cold air immediatly sniffing to try and figure out where everyone was.

Who did I need to find first? Mentally I knew that Giles wanted me to go straight to the source, but having never met the source it would prove slightly difficult. I needed someone else.

I outstretched my hand palm up and watched as a ball of cloudy white formed. I placed my other hand on top and different colours began to seep in and swirl together before turning into pure black. Frowning I pulled my hands away and images took over the colours showing me what had happened, what I had missed. From the looks of it, alot, and I needed to work fast. I clapped my hands once and the ball disappeared.

Pushing my hair from my face I started into the city, towards what could only be called chaos.

"That was easy," I said, I was well aware of the glares I was getting from Pepper,

"What the hell are you doing here?" Yelled Pepper, I smiled, and then did something that she wasn't expecting, I bowed to her, "I have to pay allegiance to my queen."

[Pepper]

"You.......WHAT?!" I yelled in confusion.

"Okay lets get one thing straight, WE ARE ENEMIES!" I yelled again. "Your're not meant to bow until I torture you". I said, slightly confused by now.

"Why have you come up to me like this? I could banish your soul forever like that" I said, snapping my fingers for emphasis.

[TPot]

I smiled at her last comment, "Then why don't you?"

[Pepper]

"B-Be-Because." I stuttered, thrown by T-pot's question. "I don't want to" I said shakily.

"I've killed thousands of people"I said in a quiet voice, almost to myself.

"Thousands"I repeated. "in the worst ways I could imagine." I said, in a frustrated tone. "SO WHY CAN'T I KILL YOU?!" I yelled.

I dragged myself through my dead witches to the door. Stepping out I saw Pepper confronting something. I muttered a revealing spell and saw a spirit. T-pot's. Annoying. Pepper seemed to have difficulty killing him. "Please," I began, startling everyone. They clearly thought Joshua had killed me. "Allow me to help." Bannishing Joshua hadn't been hard. Tpot would be easy.

I burst into the room where Francois and Maya where, clapping my hands, getting their attention. Maya paled as she saw me.

"Francois. Get out here. Now." I ordered, walking towards them slowly, my eyes on Maya.

"Grace..." He said unwillingly.

"I've sensed your little red head around here. Go to her."

[Maya]

"Charlie..." I murmured, "No..." I moved to intercept him, but Grace chuckled,
"Uh-uh-uh." She said. She had a knife to Faith's throat. "You're staying here sweetie."
I gritted my teeth adn raised my sword,
"And you're going down." I snapped back.

[Jackson ''Doc'' Ellison]

"So, de little mouse has finally left 'er 'ole, eh?" I said with a grin. "Have fun, ladies. "I t'ink I'll go get...reacquianted."

[Charlotte]

Before we even reached the doors they swung open and he strode out towards us. Before I even looked I knew it was him and I froze.
"Why 'ello dere" He said smiling at me as I stared, willing my limbs to move but unsure of what I would do if they responded.

"Well, now, you are lookin' better dan i expected," I said. "Bein' alive an' all. An' de hair! My God, girl, did you fall in a tar vat or somet'in'," I laughed at her shocked face. "Ah, you have no idea 'ow long I've been waitin' for dis," I brought my Sabre up in front of me. "I t'ink I'll enjoy kilin' you myself."

[Maya]

I lunged forwards, and she swung the knife to intercept my sword. All of a sudden we were in a whirlwind of movement, each responding immediately to the others actions, blocking, attacking, blocking attacking... now and then one would get the upper hand and push the other back, but it went on for what seemed like hours- we were very well matched. My exhaustion was forgotten- i was running on heart and mind, the rest of my body simply following. But still some part of me knew that eventually i would tire.
As i fought, i felt Faith struggling mentally. SHe knew what was happening, and she was fighting desperately against the knowledge of the pain she would feel if she pulled the needles out to free herself. I hoped Grace didn't notice.
Ironically, it was this that distracted me- only slightly, but with a match so close, that tiny bit makes a difference.
I glanced over at Faith, and even then i knew i had slipped. She wrenched my arm round in a painful grip, and plunged her knife into my side, twisting it. I gasped in pain, and felt my knees buckle. She threw me to the ground, looking down with a smile of satisfaction as i starred at her with wide eyes, and my blood poured out.
I vaguely heard a yell of anger and pain, and saw, just as my vision began to blur, a Figure leap on Grace. I heard a nasty crack, and the vampire disintegrated.

*third person*
Faith fell to her knees beside the prone form of her fellow slayer, and the closest thing to a younger sister she'd ever had. She lifted the girl's head onto her lap, stoking her hair away from her face,
"Maya?"
"Faith..." She murmured
"Hold on, kid, you're gonna be ok." Faith croaked, tears coming to her eyes, for she knew it wasn't true. Maya shook her head slightly as her vision melted into merely vague blobs of colour. "Just do your mojo, Maya... heals yourself."
The younger girls tried to open her mouth to speak, but didn't have the strength.
[cant... no energy... no power left...] came the weak mental message.
"No!" FAith cried angrily. "Maya, stay with me! Maya? Maya!?"
But the slayer's eyes just starred blankly ahead, seeing nothing, and no pulse beat in her veins.
"Maya!" FAith sobbed.
