I went back to speaking normally, well on the outside that was. On the inside felt like I had just woken up. "Where were we?"

"I agree." I said, screwing up my face in a rather unattractive, but thoughtful, expression. "However... even if you dont consciously know what's going on... some subconscious part of your mind will almost certainly have registered at least some of your dealings while you're being controlled..." I looked the guy over- he looked plain petrified. "I could have a look?" I glanced at Doc, "See if i can find anything about this guy."
"H-have a look?"
"In your head." I confirmed. "It doesnt hurt- i was just trying to scare you before. So... what do you think?"

"Good." i said. "Gimme your hands- it makes the connection easier."
He tentatively placed his hands on the middle of the table. I took them in my own, and glanced at Doc.
"Im here." He said, "I'll anchor you."
I smiled gratefully as i turned back and felt Doc's hand on my shoulder.
"Here goes." I said, closing my eyes and reaching for his mind...
