"I'll take that as a yes," we both gave a laugh. "You need to do that more often."
"What?" she asked.
"Smile," I answered. "Laugh. C'mon. Before your stomach starts to eat itself."

"Thanks for that visual." I said, slightly disgusted.

"Ladies first," I said, opening the door.

"How very gentleman like of you." I said dashing through and grabbing his hand. "What? I'm not a gentleman all the time?" He asked indignantly. "Only time will tell." I said and pulled him inside.

"I'll have to watch myself," I said. "Kitchen shoud be...in here."
We entered probably the best apartment in the building, mostly because i kept it in one piece.
"Why do I suspect this isn't the first time you've done this?" Charlotte asked.
"well, not quite," I said, gathering the pancake ingrediants, all in date. "I'm usually alone."

"It's a good thing times change then isn't it?" I said and unable to help myself kissed him tipping flour all over us both in the process. "Oops."

"Well, it's not the first time i've spilt something. I said. Of course, it's the first time I've enjoyed. Now, scoot for sec. As welcome a distraction as you are, I'll never get breakfast looking at you," yeah, I was laying it one thick. So sue me, I finally found a girl that'll put up with me, despite my own stupidity. I'm allowed to complement her.

"So you want me to leave you alone?" I asked with a puppy dog face. "You want me to go away and-"

"Well, that's not quite what I meant," I said a bit too quickly. Gotta watch what I say. I don't want to stuff things up.

"I didn't mean-" I began my cheeks flaming. "I was only ..it's fine really. I'm in the way, I think I can still manage to be on my own for a couple of minutes. Gotta use the bathroom anyway." i wandered down the hallway to a bathroom which was really quite spectacular. A glance in the mirror made me wince though. i was pale from lack of sleep and my cheeks were pink from both blushing and the night air. Looking at myself I began to think about what was going on. We had spent the night together. i mean ok nothing...well nearly nothing had happened but it was still a whole night. I readjusted some of my clothes and bit my lip wondering what the others must be thinking, knowing they would probably fill in the gaps with stories that might be far more adventurous but couldn't be nearly as perfect as the truth.

Why am I so...I couldn't think of a word.
Perhaps you've been alone too long, a little voice suggested. I gave a grimace. That's probably it.
I looked towards the bathroom. Damn, she's the best thing that's happened to me, and i knew that after one night!
One night...Great, Jessy's gonna have a field day. Ah well, it was worth it.

When I returned the table was neatly laid and there was a stack of pancakes sitting in the middle. "Wow." I exclaimed. "A guy who really can cook. I'm not going to be letting go of you any time soon."

"Yeah, well..." I put two glasses on the table, filled with milk. They both had a small layer of brown at teh bottom. Charlotte looked at me questioningly. "It' ice cream topping. Chocolate. Here," I picked up on glass and stirred teh topping up with a sppon until hte milk turned a light brown, then handed it to her. "Drink it all, otherwise the choclate settle at teh bottom again."
(((Don't laugh, but I actually do make this, and actually tastes quite good. You don't need a lot of chocolate topping, just a little at teh bottom of the glass. Try it, you'll like it. And you can use other flavours too.)))
