"Setup's like that don't come cheap," I said. "You'd have to be a genius to create Crys, the Computer and Holo with anything less than the combined debt of every Third World nation on the planet. Whatever was done, the good Doctor needed financial backing. If Crys decides to end it, it'll be because someone didn't do a good enough job in ensuring that...whatever's inside him was controllable. Since the Doctor's gone, we'll just track down the financiers of his little Science Project, and shut them down. I know it's not much, but we owe it to him to make sure whoever caused this doesn't get the chance to do it again.""

"I'll rip them to peices. To create life like that only to burden it so heavily is pure evil. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Yeah," I said as we ran down the hall. "Bastards need their head examined. I got some nice implements back home that'd be good for that. Like a ban saw."

"No," i said flatly. Jessy looked up at me questioningly. "Don't ask. It's...not something I'm proud of."

"Ok," I said softly. I hated the look in his eyes. So much pain. It was Francois, I was certain.

"There's the guys," I said, changing the subject. Darkmmon saw us coming first, though he probably heard us more than anything.
"well?" He asked.
"Problem taken care of now, but we have an interesting dilemma," I said.

"What dilemma?" asked Darkmoon bluntly.

"We cannot wait any longer Chrystlis!" Holo said.
We were now in a different room, it contained John's central computer which was now controlled by The Computer.
The Computer typed: Everything is ready... we cannot wait for much longer, are you coming or are you not?
"Wait a few more minutes, they'll be back, just a few more minutes... please." I asked.
The Computer typed more: No. I am sorry Crystlis, but you must come now.
I looked around, and saw noone coming back.
"Sorry guys..." I said softly, "ok... let's do this."
The Computer created a beam of light which transfered me into it's system as a bunch of data. Then it started a countdown of it's central core.
The countdown started: Explosion of core: 3:00
then the seconds started to decrease:
2:59 2:58 2:57 2:56

Doc had just started to explain what was going on with Crystlis when a loud booming voice spoke over the loudspeakes:
[glow=red,2,300]"Explosion of Computer core: T minus three minutes!"[/glow]

"Oh shit," I muttered, taking off for where we had left Crys. "The crazy bastards actually going to do this."

I turned and ran after Doc, tears flying down my face. This couldn't happen. Not now.

As Jessy and Doc ran through the hallway back towards the room in which the countdown was occuring, the same voice boomed out of the loudspeaker:
[glow=red,2,300]"Explosion of Computer core: T minus 2-and-a-half minutes!"[/glow]

The Computer's countdown was at 2:16 by the time Doc and Jessy found the room... (pretty quick if you ask me.)
2:15 2:14 2:13 2:12
then something else appeared above the countdown timer: I am sorry to leave, but this is what I must do... I am sorry I couldn't get to know you all better.
1:57 1:56 1:55 1:54

"where is he?" Jwessy screamed frantically as the others caught up.
"Not here," I said. Jessy gave me a 'duh' look. "Think Jess. When we tried to break in, we got locked up in cyberspace. However, as far as we can figure, cyberspace isn't in LA."
