[Maya]

((erm, wheres nicki meant to have been? or am i not meant to know, or am i being dumb? *shrugs* well welcome back nicks, cos i do remember u left, even if i havent read the thread telling me where uve been! ;D ))

I walked into the spot chatting with Aila. Josh was going to meet us later- all weirdness aside, it was pretty cool having a daughter a couple of years younger than me. I looked around, saw Doc, Jess, Rogue and... my jaw dropped,
"Oh my goddess! Nicki!!" In a couple more steps i was beside her, and i threw my arms around her, "How are you girl!?"

((In short, I was in another dimension somewhere. I have no idea what it was called or where it was, but it was pretty freaky.))

My eyes widened and I realised what they had meant, this was bordering on bone crunching. I found myself wondering how we had all met and how many of us there were. Was there an 'us'? Did we have some kind of gang or something?

"Hi." I said, suddenly feeling a little shy which came as a shock because I didn't think I had ever felt shy before. "Judging by that hug, I'm guessing you're Maya."

"Yep thats Maya," I laughed.

[Maya]

"I missed something, didn't i?" I said, frowning, "What do you mean 'judging by that hug'?? I've known you two years, Nick..." My eyes narrowed, "Unless of course you're an alternate dimension not-nicki clone type like chime, or under the control of some stuck up dick-week like Tyriel, or..."
Why were they all giving me funny looks?

[Jessy Jackson]

"You think too much. When was your last beer?" I asked.

[Nicola Next]

"Clone? No... At least I think not. Doc told me I was Nicki so I guess I'm her, I just don't remember. I remember words or names but I don't know how long I've been gone or who I am or who you are... I'm sorry I'm babbling. We only just got back so everything is painfully new."

[Maya]

"Firstly- Jess, oi- you make me sound like an alcoholic." I raised one eyebrow, "Secondly- this is too wierd... But i think i could do a spell to see whether you belong in this dimension... and dont worry about the babbling- thats just good ol' Nicki."

[Nicola Next]

I looked at her for a second and realised that I didn't know if everyone in the group was different yet... Rogue was a vampire and I'd recognised Doc had a sabre but another witch? I hadn't met another witch who hadn't wanted to zap me with lightning bolts for so long.

"You're a witch too? I mean, sure you can do a spell to check... As long as the weather doesn't change. That happened alot back hom-" I stopped abrubptly before the word could finish and changed tack. "Okay."

[Maya]

"Cool... wanna do it now, or just chill and have a drink and do the spell later. If you choose the latter, and turn out to be evil, i jsut gotta warn you i wont take it well." i said it all very seriously, but then cracked a grin and waited for her reply

[Nicola Next]

I smiled sheepishly. "Coming from where I came from, you needed to be a little evil but I don't think you'll be getting any surprises. And you can do the spell now if it'll make everyone feel better."

[Maya]

"Sure thing. Will take a little while but hopefully not too long... i just need..." I frowned, digging in my pocket for a handful of small plastic bags containing all sorts of ingredients... "Damn..." Then i smiled, and called over to the barman, "Hey hun, you got my little box of tricks back there?"
He nodded worriedly,
"Something going down??" I had stored a box of spell supplies in the Spot because things always seemed to happen when we were there. I chuckled, and shook my head,
"Dont freak, its all good- i just need the back room for a mo."
"Sure thing." He handed me the box, and went to the back room, telling everyone in there to get out, which i think they did more from confusion than anything else.
"You're a saint." I told him, and lead Nicki into the room, the others following. From the box i took several different coloured powders, and poured them out to form a pentacle on the floor, murmuring forgein words as i did so.
"Sit in the middle." I told her. She nodded and complied. "Then its just a bitta this." I said sprinkling another powder over her, "And a bitta this... " I clicked my fingers close to the end of a bunch of dried herbs, igniting them, and waved the smoking bundle around her, saying, ((Pretend its some cool language- i cant be bothered toi translate)) "Show me if this girl is one of our own. Show me if she belongs. Show me the truth from the lies. If she be a lost friend returning, greet her, If she be a foe, contain her, if she be a lost guest, show us where she belongs."

I blinked and sat there as nothing seemed to happen. I started to look up and ask if Maya had done it right when I felt like someone had cracked an egg on my head and the yolk was dripping down, immersing itself in my hair. Strands of my once brown locks hung loosely in front of my eyes and I gave a gasp as they slowly began to change into a rich purple colour. I quickly stood up and looked around, feeling bewildered at the sudden difference.

"Wh-Why is my hair purple?"


((*cheesy grin* It was the only thing I could think of that would prove I was Nicki! And if it wasn't in this thread, I did actually come back with brown hair just in case that was a little confusing.))

"Cause you seem to like to dye it purple," I said giving her a nod.

"So I am one hundred percent Nicki? The, uh, memory could use a little work but other than that it's safe to say this is where I'm supposed to be."

"I guess so," I nodded.
