"My turn" I grinned pulling out a crystal box from my pocket. I opened it and out came a silver necklace witha clear, glowing stone hanging from it. "It's a crystalised soul" I explained. "Whenever you're lost, in any way, this will help you find your way again". I handed it to Charlotte and stepped back.

I had decieded to look my natural five year old self for the party, not sure why.
I had hung back through the first part of the party but I had to give Charlotte her present so I walked up to where she was standing clutching the present in my hands.
((I can't think of any thing Charlotte so can someone help me please?))

In the bustled of everyone talking, what Charlie had said didnt quite sink in at first. I frowned, and then my eyes went wide,
"Oh, goddess, no!" I exclaimed to her, "No no no, we havent."
"You havent...?" SHe asked, confused,
"No no," I chuckled, "Noo, Josh and I havent done that."
"Er, Mai..."Said Faith, who had been glaring silently at Josh, "I may have dropped out of school, but i'm still pretty certain that unless you're a chick called Mary who lives in a stable, you have to do that for..."she pointed at my stomach with an odd expression, "that to happen."
I grinned, deciding not to point out faith's faulty references, and glancing up at Josh,
"'Pprently not when you're a slayer wicca and, at the time at least, a time wizard."
"Huh?" Buffy said, "Explainy?"
"Whole big thing with splitting of essences and stuff... bit confusing actually- i think Josh is better at explaining..."

"Nope. At least... not the original enjoining spell." Joshua said. He sighed, "When i was dying, Maya tried to save me by taking half the pain back, sharing it- joining us... but Ate stopped it, knowing that that would only kill us both. Went we were forcably pulled apart, a little of each of us was left behind in the other. For me, it made no difference, because i died minutes later, and then i was joined with lon anyway, but for Maya, that little bitta me," He smiled, "Made a whole new littl'bit."
I grinned up at him, and remembered one of the other questions,
"Oh, and it's a girl." I added.

"Close enough." I said. "Mai you do know what it...she is going to meant though don't you? I mean you could be out of the fight for months and with Joshua kind of powerless you're going to be in a hell of a lot of danger, not to mention trying to do normal baby stuff with demons around every corner. Plus there's the whole you being nineteen factor. Mai how are you going to keep her safe? How are you going to cope? Obviously we'll help but we're fighters, we might know about demons but there's so much we don't know about...including babies."
