Rory's point of view
I sighed and slipped of the stool. "See ya later." I turned away. "More like stake you later," I added under my breath. [Preffered drinking to fighting. Plus it's easier to put holy water in their drinks then stake em.] I listened as the three vamps dusted.

I sent, as uproar began in the bar. The bartender, a slimy weak vampire was being blamed and the remainder of the bar's occupants were very angry. [I'll be back soon. How's the party?]

i got some of what was happening through the mental link, and bit my lip. [Shit- get out of there Rory. I think you may have done a very good job...] I could almost feel him grin as i heard him think what he was saying out loud, "You- you came over here before!" "What!?" A demon cried. "You? You did that?" Yelled another at the first. [And now it's time to jet.] Rory thought to me. I guess he must have shifted into something small to get out of the way as the two groups of angry demons jumped at eachother. ((tell me if thats too muchor if you wanted something else... i just thought it was cool..  )) |

((Sorry to bring this back to the actual party instead of the Rory and vamps thing, Anyways, TPOT IS BACK!! After spending a week in Aussie bush without a shower or anything like that, I'm back!!))
I was talking to myself in my hed still while I was dancing, Why are you acting like this? You've done this before, it should be easier this time, If I act like this maybe it will make her lose interest, Why do you want her to lose interest, because it will never happen again, What? Wait a minute this isn't Priz here this is Pepper, What if she does it to?

((Hehe we had Maca's on the way back from the camp, people actualy left the shop because we smelt so bad, BTW I have canoed 18K's in 1 day, and for the Mush comment, 1, 2, 3, Awwwww... How sweet.... ;D))

I looked at the dancing couples on the floor. Spike really wasn't getting the hint, so I would just have come out and ask. God, I'm freggin' 500 years old, you'd think asking for a stupid dance would be easier. "So," I started. "So," he continued. Was it just me or was that a tremble in his voice? "Uh.... W-would youliktodnce?" I was so nervouse it all came out on a rush. Great, what a way to impress him. 'Stupid, stupid!' I thought to my self. "What was that, pet?" Ooooh, he called me pet. I was just going to die. I'd had a crush on Spike since we had first met. Nearly eighty years was a long time to think about something like this. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly and started again. "Would you like to dance, Spike?" I couldn't look at him while I said it, but I looked at him now, hoping for..... I don't know, something! He smiled. A real smile, not a smirk, not a sneer. A smile. It lit up his face like sunshine. "It would be my pleasure, Belle." When he said my name, it was like he ment it not as my name, but as it's meaning. Wow. He took my hand and led me out onto the dancefloor as a slow song started. He held me close, and it was as if all my dreams had come true. (((I know, sap out the wazoo, but a girl can dream, can't she?  And I think this is my longest post yet. Go me!))) |

I walked back to the dance floor and stared at the dancing couples. There was a lot of gossip tied up in who was dancing with who. I still wanted to dance myself but I supposed I'd have to make do just watching.
"Hey little kitty." I turned sharply. A breathless Rory was behind me. I almost leapt on him.

All possible reactions sped through my head, i remembered freaking out, thought about not saying anything but then I heard Maya's voice in my head.
[Tell him then] She said. [You know you want to]
"Doc." I began and he looked worried for an instant. "Doc, I love you too. You know that right. I was so scared of it but I'm not now. Whatever happens, wherever we are I'll love you."
