The edge of his face scrunched up in disgust at her last words, one hand placed inconspiciously in his pocket, while the other lay lifelessly at his side. his fingers massaging the cold handle of the small pocketknife that layed delicately in the small space. It was temping to him yes, to use it to tell him what she really wanted. It was a distrust that was molded through years of discontent and uncomfort, but that inability to trust was there, and it was there to stay. Some said it was because of his "nature", because of the "thing he was". He said to hell with them, he was who he was, with or without the power he held. "I don't need your help. They have nothing on me."

I took a deep breath, trying to figure out why I wanted him out so bad. Maybe he liked it in here? I rested my forhead against the cool bars and closed my eyes. Slowly, I was opening my second sight. Obviously I had to remove my glasses before I fully saw him. His colors shown brightly. A magenta mixed with indigo. Showing that he was anti social, but not evil. "By the time they sort out the paper work, you could be in here for years. Trust me. I've got a friend that's.... well conected."

He could notice something different about her as she stared at her for a moment, her very essence changing in a way that he could not describe. He didn't know what she was staring at, but it was beginning to bother him. "Well connected, huh?" He questioned, taking a few steps forwards so that he was near her now, his features as hard and cold as stone. "I've only been sitting here for about ten minutes, kind of quick for help if you ask me." The lights flickered for a moment, a small crack from the lightbulb on the ceiling announcing it could not hold much more of its progress. His red eyes seemed to glow momentarily, his white hair making his tanned skin seem darker, his presence under the shadows more menacing to the normal eye. "You're story is a bit falty if you ask me." He couldn't ignore the fact that she stuttered every time she talked to him. Stuttering was always a sign, the probabilty for her being able to be trusted was small.

I blinked away my second site, suprised to find it had grown darker. I couldn't act surprised, because it would make me seem insane... er than I usually am. I looked him in the eyes. He really didn't want mine or Mal's help. "Fine. I came here to apolgize, and I did so. I hope you have fun in this cell."

Her words processed quickly in his mind, causing him to hold back a loud laugh and large grin. With a quick step, he turned his back towards one of the side walls, leaning his body on the slightly dampend walls so that he could lean agianst something. His back hurt from being "interrogated" by the officers in a few rooms back. He could feel a small bruise that ad developed on his back sting in protest asd he forced himself to lean his wieght onto the wall. "Oh? Given up already have you?" She was beginning to humor him. Coming all this way to apologize and try so hard, and as soon as he began to talk to her, she reteated backwards and refused to help him any longer. True, he could care less if she helped or not, but if she did...it would give him more time to take revenge on that girl.

"It's obvious you don't want my help." I replied with shrug of my shoulders. Even though Mal was still working on it. I wasn't going to tell him that I was going to stop helping. "Hope you have a good life..." I pushed myself away from the cell. The corner of my mouth curled upwards, as I tried to smile, but it looked more like a grimnce.

He watched her push herself away, he could see the unwillingness in her actions. She didn't want to leave, she didn't want to stop helping. Its a rare thing to find one of these cases, but he was bound to find one eventually. Watching her sad attempt at a smile, he pushed down another amused laugh and removed himself from the wall, relieving his bruise of the constant pressure and took a few steps toward her; taking his hands out of his pockets and placing them carefully on the cold bars. Making sure not to touch the progressing rust on the iron bars, he shifted his gaze so that her eyes would be forced to look into his. "You shouldn't lie like that." What was it that helped him tell what people were thinking? Was it a sense? No, it had to be that cursed dog that was chained down in his chest, whispering words into his mind's ear and telling him of what it could analyze. That damned thing had gotten him into trouble in the past, yet it helped him greatly in the long run. "You came all this way to apologize, yet you turn your back at the littlest remark?" His voice sounded soft, or at least, the softest he could make it. He needed out. Now.

I blinked. He had figured me out? And here I thought I was a pretty convincing actress. "I cam to aplogize... and I did. I didn't come here for a verbal tennis match with somone my evil clone put in jail." Wait... I didn't actually just tell him that I had a clone... did I? Oh please tell me I didn't just tell him.

He stared for a moment, blinking his sleepless eyes for a fraction of a second, her words buzzing like flies through his mind. Did she just say "evil clone"? He shifted his weight to one knee, relieving pressure off of a nasty gash on his toes on his left foot, those "officers" were going to pay as soon as he got out of here. So many questions were going through his mind, evil clone? Was this a setup? Who was she really? Pretending not to hear the comment, he forced a small, thin smirk to spread across his face, clouding the cold hate in his red eyes with a blanket of softness, every "good" emotion he could think of consuming his devil-like eyes. "Do you a small napkin on you?" He tried to make his voice sound as friendly as possible, he truly did. "If so, do you think you can spare it for a moment?"

Good. He didn't hear 'evil clone' I was relieved, but it was replaced by confusion a second later. Napkin? Who carries napkins around with them? I sure didn't. "No.... OH!" I had something that was close. I pulled out a tissue. Wasn't used, I don't even know why it was in my pocket. "I have this... will this work?"

Staring at the small tissue for a moment, he reached forward and took it from her hands, his thin, dirt stained fingers already staining a small part of the white "cloth" a light brown. Thanking her with a quick glance he took a few steps backward and bent down, removing his many-a-year-old shoe and lifting up his foot, revealing blood-stained skin and a gash that resembled a knife gash. Keeping a straight face, he stuffed the small tissue into his shoe, careful to tuck it comfortably into the space between the tongue and the bottom of the shoe. Replacing his injured foot quickly in the shoe, the small jabs of pain in his foot were slightly lessened as he could feel fresh blood begin to seep into the tissue. "So," he began slowly, replacing one hand in a pocket while the other gripped the bar in front of him in support as he fixed his shoe, "tell me of this 'evil clone' of yours."

{ Did I offend you? Sorry about that. I just thought it was absolutely hilarious, and what's even funnier were the reactions I recieved. Wow, looks like a few can't take a joke. And proper English? I hope I don't have to post the definition of such! Have you seen the posts I make? Yeah. I know how to role play. I know how to spell, unlike some. I have my English quite proper. Thanks for caring so much of my grammar education! =D
Love so much to my adoring public, <3Kyros }
